Daily Grooming – In Depth

I recommend that you do the following in order to keep your Yorkie happy & healthy, and this will also help you and your pup in the future

For brushing:

1.) Use an in-between-bath spray bottle and lightly spray it on your Yorkie’s coat (if you brush your pup’s fur when it is dry, it could break).

2.) Use a brush that is specifically for your pet and brush him after you use the in-between-bath spray.

3.) Next use a wide-toothed comb and go over all of his fur.

4.) Then use a thin-toothed comb on his fur.

Two things you should remember while brushing your pup is that, one,  you need to brush everywhere there is fur, and two, if you find a mat to be gentle about getting it out, because it can pull too hard and hurt his skin.

Brushing your pup’s teeth:

1.) Use only dog-toothpaste.

2.) You can use a toothbrush or a fingerbrush.

3.) Brush all of your pup’s teeth just like you would your own.

4.) (Optional) You can give your pup a doggie breath-mint or you can get a doggie dental care spray and squirt it inside his mouth for freshness.

You should also wipe your pup’s eyes with a damp cloth everyday.  I hope these instructions help you and your pup
